“I am tired” – a missionary moment

Report from the field in South Sudan:

We have a story of a lady from a neighboring village. A week ago *Miriam walked into our compound. She got a seat for herself and sat outside our house. This is not normal in their culture. My wife and I went to greet her. Just after the greetings, she said “I am tired with the sinful life that I have been living, I need your help.” We told her that we have no way to help with the challenge she told us about and that Christ alone can help her if she surrenders her life to him. Immediately, she said “I want to surrender my life to Christ.” We assisted her to understand a bit about salvation and prayed for her, after which she gave her life to Christ.  Not long after, she stood and gave her testimony in public.  Pray for this sister as she begins a new life in Christ.
